Norine Thompson

Norine Thompson is passionate about the values and principles of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. After working in the field of mental health for 12 years at Toronto North Support Services, she took the recovery approach to the management of a woman's shelter and is now with Durham Mental Health Services.

Norine is past president of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Canada's Ontario Board and currently teaches Mental Health Practitioner Competencies on-line through Mohawk College.

The role Norine most values is as Mom to three adult children. "They have taught me much about life and resiliency."
